There’s this ramen restaurant near me with the best bathroom setup I’ve ever seen. 6 single toilet rooms with a locking door so basically a stall, outside of the rooms is a big shared sink. No genders, no stupid bullshit. I wish there were more bathrooms like that

I don't think people should have to explain themselves to strangers but i think the safest option when someone asks if you're a man or woman is to say man (when you're a trans man) but with hormonal issues. It's not a lie because most trans men don't produce enough testosterone and it's an issue but it still sounds like something a cis man could have naturally

I'm mid transition and not really out to anyone but friends (I've always been a tomboy so nobody really thinks much of it) and I'm too scared to use the men's bathroom but honestly I'm getting really scared going into the women's bathroom at this point because I'm worried I'll get shouted at for being in there if i look too much like a boy

I hate public restrooms. Dirty, usually overcrowded, and weird people… but when you’ve gotta go you’ve gotta go. I understand your frustration. I recommend using the gender neutral bathrooms whenever you get the chance. I usually pass, but other men have given me a hard time before. Hell, even a fast food worker once tried to harass me out of the bathroom because some asshole complained. When this happens just stand your ground, tell them you have the right to use the bathroom and they need to mind their damn business.

Keep this up my brother and you're right. This is part of progress and it's definitely going to get worse for us, but just like the Jim Crow laws this will also be on the wrong side of history. I'm going through the exact opposite of what you're going through and I am new to my transition, I am also active duty, and I think it's important for each of us to show this kind of strength. Just found your video, and Im glad to see you talking about the fear of being in public while trans during this second Drumf administration. NGL, Im terrified. I'm a transmasc butch on T, but I get "sir'd" often in public. Even though I feel validated, that fear still persists. Wearing my mask so others don't "clock" me gives me dome security, but it only does so much. Even though I live in a large blue city, that fear of violence for daring to be trans in public still exists. Thanks for tying this video up with some positivity, too. Trans people ARE beautiful, and we deserve to be true and SAFE.

They literally have no way of enforcing this law. Just use it. Nobody can stop you. If you're afraid of somebody trying to hurt you for using it, remember that you still have a 2nd Amendment right.
